Project name: 'Pixels'
Materials used: Water colour, water colour paper (around 300 gsm), brushes, water, pencil, ruler.
The part of this project that I particularly liked was called 'mapping'. The idea or concept was to grab an A3 sheet of paper which already had on it a 3D image constructed of cubes and design a new composition by adding or removing cubes to it. The use of perspective was heavily involved. The end result was quite successful as I had constructed a new composition of 3D cubes that sat well in the space. I chose this project because it was fun to do, it stood out and the outcome was aesthetically pleasing to me.
